The Crafty Friends is a group of people who knit and crotchet for the community from their homes and we would welcome anyone who would like to join us in this venture. All items are made and given with love
Over the past year we have made 18 blankets for the homeless, 32 lap blankets for the less mobile,108 twiddlemuffs for dementia sufferers, 105 crotcheted forget-me-nots for The Alzheimers’ Society, 18 baby cardigans, 8 baby hats and 7 cot pads for the neonatal unit, 400 smoothie
hats raising £100 for Age UK, and 13 bunny glove puppets containing a chocolate egg for The Bikers’ Egg Run.
As you can imagine donations of all types of wool are gratefully received.
